Metoden isAlphabetic(intcodePoint) i Character-klassen bestemmer om det angitte tegnet er et alfabet eller ikke.

Et tegn anses å være et alfabet hvis det har følgende egenskaper:

• STOR BOKSTAV
• LITEN BOKSTAV
• TITLECASE_LETTER
• MODIFIER_LETTER
• OTHER_LETTER
• LETTER_NUMBER eller
• Andre alfabeter definert av Unicode-standarden.

kodepunkt : Det er karakteren som skal testes.

Metoden isAlphabetic(intcodePoint) returnerer true hvis tegnet er et Unicode-alfabettegn. Ellers returnerer denne metoden den falske.
